Why should I create a profile?

Creating a profile allows you to fully participate in the Community. If you create a profile, you will be able to post messages in the Forums, upload photos in the Memory gallery, participate in Community contests and more!

What can I do without a profile?

Without creating a profile, you can continue to browse the discussion boards and memory galleries but will be unable to actively contribute to the Community. Each Collector has their own experience and questions about the AIR MILES Reward Program, so we do encourage all Collectors to create a profile so they can interact and share within the community.

How do I set up a profile?

To create a profile, just click the Getting Started link. Setting up a profile takes just a few easy steps:

• 1. Enter a Screen Name.Your screen name is your Forum identity. It will appear whenever you post to the message boards or send discussions and memory galleries to friends. Most Members create anonymous names for privacy and to help them feel more comfortable participating. Have fun with your name, be as creative as you like, but choose carefully – once you have selected a screen name, you are unable to make any changes once submitted. Your screen name cannot be the same as another person's.
• 2. Enter your e-mail address.Email address is required to create a profile and contribute to the Community. This helps Moderators if we need to contact you about your post. Also, you must validate your e-mail address by replying to an e-mail sent to the address you enter.
• 3. Confirm your e-mail address.This is to make sure you typed it correctly. (A common mistake with new registrations.)
• 4. Click Next.
• 5. If you want, enter additional details in the optional fields such as: Favourate Sponsor, Dream Reward Category, etc.
• 4. Click Next.
• 7. Select an avatar or upload your own profile photo.
• 8. Read the Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines and check the I agree to the Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines check box.
• 9. Click Save & view Profile
• 10. As soon as you receive the confirmation e-mail, click the activation link. Once you do, you'll be able to view your profile and participate in the Community. Until then, feel free to read messages posted by other users
• You must have cookies enabled in your browser to register and log into the Forum.

What is "Private" information in my profile?

When setting up your profile you will be required to fill out some personal information, such as email address. Fields marked as "Private" will not appear in your public profile – other Collectors will not be able to see them. The Make Private feature also allows you to keep other optional information in your profile private

How do I update my profile?

Once logged in to your profile, click on the Edit Profile button to make updates to your profile. Once your updates are complete, click on Save & View Profile to complete your changes.

How do I log in?

Once you've registered and confirmed your registration, you can log into the discussion and begin your AIR MILES Community experience.

• 1. At the top of any page, click Sign In.
• 2. Enter your Collector ID and 4 digit PIN
• 3. Click Come On In.

What do I do if I forget my PIN?

Not to worry, your PIN is the same 4 digit password you use to access your online AIR MILES account. If you forget this PIN, please follow the steps at the Forgot my PIN link.

Who will see my profile?

Everyone who visits the airmiles.ca Community site will be able to view your profile. Please keep this in mind when creating your profile and submitting discussion topics and posts.
